International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the most popular English language test for academic and professional purpose which is accepted by over 140 countries. The test assess four skill areas of the English language: speaking, reading, listening and writing. British Council, IDP – Australia and University of Cambridge ESOL EXAMINATIONS jointly own the examination

It has two modules; Academic and General. The Academic test is taken by the students aspiring for Bachelor and Masters Level and beyond whereas the General test is required for migration purpose or for studying below Bachelor level.

SCORING :

IELTS is graded on a scale of 0 – 9, known as Band Scale. Generally, a score of at least 6 bands for UG & 6.5 bands for PG is required in each section. Your results will be available in 13 days after you complete your IELTS. Your results will be available in 3 to 5 days after your test date.
