It is one of the oldest higher education institute having VI.level accreditation.There are near about 464 teachers working in different department. The academy trains over 2000 international students in all seven faculties and preparatory department like General Medicine, Pediatric,Management of Public health ,Dentistry Pharmacy, Nursing and Postgraduate education.

OMA has trained many doctors,dentists,pharmacists ,nurses,bachelors who are working efficiently in private sectors. They have 7 hostels for students with a sport complex ,library etc.
